Three Warhawks scored in double-digits, with 24 points from Dayjuan Anderson leading the charge, followed by 13 from Quaran McPherson, and 10 from Robert Cowherd.
ULM (1-1) connected on 33-68 (49%) from the floor in the non-conference exhibition contest; however, the bigger improvement came from the charity stripe where the Warhawks connected on 77% (20-26), a drastic improvement from Monday’s season opening 18-29 performance.
The Warhawks also showcased rebounding dominance, out rebounding the Tigers 52-24, including a 19-6 difference on the offensive side of the ball.
Cross emptied the bench to give a glimpse of the future talents on the roster, including Monroe native Cooper Nelson who connected on a pair of buckets over his eight minutes of action.
ULM now hits the road for four straight including stops at Texas A&M, TCU, Arizona State, and Grand Canyon.
