The 2025–26 ULM basketball regular seasons have concluded with first-year head coach Phill Cunningham’s men’s squad matching its preseason projection of 14th place and earning that seed for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Pensacola, Florida. Meanwhile, fellow first-year head coach Scotty Fletcher exceeded uncertain expectations, guiding the women’s team to a 10th-place finish.
Regardless of the seed, it’s an uphill battle for the Warhawks to try and advance further into the post-season.
